Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses provide care to clients in a variety of settings - homes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and during medical transit. Nursing care is provided on an as-needed basis, from short-term visits to 24-hour care. Personal Care Aides and Home Helpers assist clients to retain their independence and to remain safely and comfortably at home.  Care givers provide personal care, homemaker services, companion care, night care and accompaniment for errands and outings.  Personal care and Homemaker services are provided on a short-term or extended basis.

Nightingale works closely with many groups and organizations in the community. One such agency is the Saskatoon Council on Aging.

The Council has two main functions: operating a Resource Walk-in Centre to enhance the quality of life for older adults, and working with local agencies to initiate, implement, and evaluate projects useful to older adults in our community.
